Drug and Alcohol Management Plan (DAMP)

The safety and security of passengers and staff at the Geraldton Airport is the number 1 priority.

Governed by Part 99 of the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations 1998, The Geraldton Airport's Drug and Alcohol Management Plan (DAMP) applies to people who perform, or are available to perform a safety sensitive aviation activity (SSAA).

The DAMP aims to to minimise the risks and effects of alcohol and other drugs, and prevent people who are affected by drugs and alcohol from undertaking work.

SSAA employees may be subject to drug and alcohol testing conducted by or on behalf of the Geraldton Airport, or by CASA.
