Greenough Terminal - Main Terminal

The Greenough Terminal hosts Qantas and Nexus passenger flights arriving from and departing to Perth, with Nexus also offering flights to Karratha, Port Hedland and Broome. Virgin Australia Regional Airlines, Skippers Aviation and Alliance Airlines also frequent the Terminal with Fly In Fly Out charter flights from all over regional Western Australia.

The Terminal is open daily from the first flight in the morning to the last flight in the evening.

Airport Administration

The Geraldton Airport Administration has offices upstairs and doors are open for general enquires between 9am to 3pm.

Airport Cafe GET

Airport Cafe GET has a great range of toasties, wraps, cakes and Geraldton's best chips. You can grab a latte, cappuccino or you name it, and they'll make it. Begin your journey with a large selection of beer, wine and spirits and plenty of non-alcoholic options.

Cafe times coincide with RPT flight times - Usually an hour and a half before departure to 15 mins after.

Security Screening

The Australian Government regulates the security requirements at Australian airports, including at the Geraldton Airport. Being a security controlled airport, every passenger and visitor passing through to secure areas, and their bags, are screened for prohibited items and dangerous goods. 

Charter flights like Fly In Fly Out do not require security screening.

Security Screening times are open 1 hour before departure and 15 minutes after.

Check In

Check in times usually begin an hour and a half before the scheduled departure time.

Qantaslink, Nexus Airlines and Virgin Australia have designated check in desks. Follow the signs for your Airline.

Departure Lounge

The Departure Lounge is a security controlled area and you must go through security screening before entering. There are two boarding gates - Gate 1 and 2. Gate 1 is designated for Qantaslink and Gate 2 for Nexus Airlines. There a multiple TVs to help pass the time while waiting for boarding. Male and Female toilets and a wheelchair accessible toilet equipped with baby changing facilities. Unfortunately, there are no food or beverage options in the Departure Lounge.

VIP Room

A room that can be hired for meetings, small functions or training - the room has a TV, lounge chairs and tables, a large 8 seat conference table and whiteboard with a projector as an option. VIP access to the Cafe (on arrangement) and private toilets and shower for use.

Public Toilets

The Greenough Terminal has both male and female public toilets with shower facilities and two separate unisex wheelchair accessible toilets both equipped with baby change facilities in the main terminal area. These toilets are open to the public as the Greenough Terminal is open.
