Visitor Pass

Visitor Identification Card (VIC) may be issued by Geraldton Airport to approved applicants to provide temporary airside access.

Restrictions apply to the number of VICs that can be issued within a calendar year.

All applications and forms must be completed at least 24 hours prior to required access to site and will be managed by the Geraldton Airport.

All applications will be processed during office hours: 9am to 3pm - Monday to Friday.

Current photo identification will be required when collecting the VIC during office hours: 9am to 3pm - Monday to Friday.

Who is eligible for a VIC?

A person may apply for a Visitor Identification Card (VIC) if they have an operational need to enter the secure area (Terminal Sterile or Airside/SRA) of the Airport for a lawful purpose. A VIC holder must be escorted by an ASIC holder and supervised at all times.

Note: All VICs are issues in accordance with the 28-day rule.

How to display a VIC

  • Above waist height; and
  • At the front or side of your body; and
  • The VIC must be clearly visible at all times.

How to apply for a VIC

To apply for a visitor pass, you will need to complete the application form by downloading and filling out the hard copy application and send back to the Geraldton Airport via the email address

Before commencing this process, you must have:

  • Valid escort (a current ASIC holder). Geraldton Airport can supply an escort if one is available (fees may apply)
  • Category B ID document - Government issued with photo (eg. Drivers License) 
  • A current photo - less than 6 months old (if VIC is needed more than 3 days in a row)
